all new ...backwards to someplace over there






I am feeling lost so I decided to go backwards to someplace over there to find something new*double life of veronique one of my all time favourite films * she lived an alternative life  a drawing from a few years back* tommy chipperfield love that man and his show horses at duffys circus* circus has saved my sanity on occasion * I love working with poloroids but they are so expensive this is one of my favourite ones of all time * oh this lost drawing is the projectionist I only found it the other day I was going to do something about the white bit on his glasses ..........

Lovely! Yes, our own artworks from the past do inspire us alot sometimes. I regret that I did not keep many of mine. :( Are these going to be on your inspiration board? x

me too elenor , I would like to get an actual copy as I borrowed from college when I was there and I never forgot the images , oh swoon , such a brave film-maker wasnt he .how are you ?
hey there erin , nice to hear from you , the book IS on its way , I have way too many images on my inspirations board/books/walls/drawers/etc ....but I guess I may squeeze these in too !
I just need to see that I am seeing something to keep me going till I get going with my new work(wherever that is hiding !!!)

oooohhh thank you ritva , I really do appreciate your comment as you know I love what you do and your world too (the card you sent is on my altar) I am finally begining to see a way out or in ....just today I was able to make lots of decisions on what to draw ....I am excited (fingers crossed)
it is a tough road being an artist and ,I always try to remember the irish saying .....

.........its a long road that has no turns ......
