stranded (serenely) in my ice palace:)

me stranded in the freezing fog with my magical rabbit to keep me company
detail from a drawing for my a song for edith series
my garden last week(when there was sun to cheer my heart)
all that connects us is our tears

.....well ,we are officially stranded with the schools closed, events cancelled , warnings not to venture out unless necessary (can you believe it !!)
its true , our main roads are ok, though freezing fog is hampering the diligent grit machine drivers ,all secondary roads , country roads are un safe and we have run out of salt in our county again .
....but one must rally round and that is what I am doing.
I have started to upload my house drawings series to my flickr page .
I look forward to resolving and completing this series as soon as time here allows me :)

Thank you SO much to the lovely people that braved the weather to visit me at my stall on saturday ( I am eternally grateful)
The brown and black spectacular , see previous post , has found a new home !!
I have two more market days, saturday 11th&18th december and then I am in a group show at the Ballina Arts Centre opening in the first week of January 2011.(more details to follow)

thank you julia !
do you know , I love to be on my own too (most of the time) as there is NO way I would concentrate for long if I was always surrounded by others :)
I really enjoy it when I do get out though !
