queen meabh dressed as a rainbow ( the yellow part) lauras presence,my lifedrawing in an old map book and alice (of course)

.....sigh ...its been a busy week , the parade takes a lot of ones energy around these parts(like it or not) but I am glad to report that the rainbow float came first in its section , I on the other hand am feeling frazzled with all there is to do here etc.etc... .....just get on with it jane.... screams my rational side :)
glad to say that a suprise of laura ferraras paintings landing into my home like a feather floating down out of the sky kinda lifted my mood somewhat .
Laura , thank you.
Life drawing sadly ends next week but I have signed up for it again for may (I loved it )
I went to see alice , with the yellow part of the rainbow and my best friend and we all absolutely loved it !
The skirt is for the market tommorow , when I sew round the dog part that is :)
have a lovely weekend everyone x

Even in the midst of feeling frazzled you composed a lovely post, thanks for it. What beautiful treasure traveled to you from afar "like a feather floating down out of the sky" - I love the way you put that - ahhhh, Laura's art is exquisite magic, indeed. Jane, I love your drawing of the woman perched on the map with all the world before her and inside her - really beautiful and speaking of beautiful, so is your yellow rainbow girl!!! I went to see 'Alice' this past weekend and was completely charmed, too. Happy market day tomorrow!
