tiny rose lady came in the post yesterday all the way from the city of valencia,spain , my friend elidas mother made it !
some of my new favourite things got recently in London and Berlin, such joyful inspirations did I experience , specially in Berlin.
I have an insane appetite at the moment,for fluro colours , neon , bright pink/ orange.
I am going to put bright colours into my new drawings and have bought some lovely neon pink and orange tissue paper and card to insert into my handmade books to come.
WE NEED NEON/FLOUROESCENT COLOURS IN OUR LIVES !!

as though she is exuding an abundance of neon petals. as though her edges are unable to contain her. she is overflowing.
an idea which has always held my fascination..the way our bodies manage to hold us in. or not.
your work is so magically feminine. you bring the inside out.
and that flowering hand print...gorgeous.
as for colour, I always used to have a kind of aversion to yellow, lately though it makes my heart sing.

thank you for your considered response to my neon moment,glad you see that abundance I feel and how hard it is to contain it , alas the flowered hand print was not mine , altho I do use the symbol of the hand aswell.
